Hidden Secrets of the Human Microbiome With Alexandre Almeida
For this installment of Teach Me in 10, we are joined by Dr. Alexandre Almeida, a postdoctoral fellow in the Finn research group at the EMBL-EBI. Almeida's research goals are to bridge the gap between the bioinformatics, microbiology and immunology fields to explore how the microbiome interacts with the human host in healthy and diseased states. In this Teach Me in 10 video, Almeida explains what the microbiome is, how genomics is helping us to sequence and understand it and the applications of such work.
